01.

Psychotherapy: children, adolescents, couples, family

Psychotherapy (counselling/talk therapy) is a collaborative mental health intervention. The treatment process is between a trained and licensed mental health professional and a client or patient. The goal of psychotherapy is often to help people to understand who they are, and locate themselves within the intersections of their identities. Within the therapeutic alliance, clients or patients are supported to understand and manage their emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and overall mental health. It is used to treat a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and more.

02.

Psychosomatic and Mindfulness sessions

Psychosomatic Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy are two powerful approaches in addressing mental and physical health, drawing from understandings of the mind-body connection and how emotional and psychological stress, trauma and repressed experiences can manifest as physical symptoms, or cause further strain on physiological health.

Mindfulness therapy involves techniques that assist with focusing on the present moment to increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and improve overall mental health. It is useful for understanding oneself, which is a positive contributor to relationship building and interactions. It is particularly beneficial for managing conditions like anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, and it also supports physical health by reducing the negative effects of stress.

03.

Scholastic and educational Interventions

Scholastic and educational interventions are designed to optimise students’ learning experiences, and support students facing academic or relational challenges. Challenges that emerge in schools often include (but are not limited to) learning disabilities, socioemotional difficulties, behavioural issues or other socioeconomic and situational factors that serve as barriers to learning. These interventions are often applied in schools, universities, or community settings and integrate psychological praxis to enhance learning outcomes, socioemotional abilities, and promote equitable access to education

04.

Debriefing and crisis response

Debriefing and crisis responses are crucial in managing traumatic or stressful events in diverse situations. These interventions aim to help individuals or groups process their experiences, manage their emotions, make meaning of traumatic situations and return to a functional state after a crisis or critical incident.
